I absolutely love my new glass kettle. When you turn it on, it lights up blue. A very nice look. The water boils quickly even when it's a full pot. After boiling it automatically shuts off. The downside is it doesn't whistle to let you know it's done. It just shuts off. So don't get caught up doing something else because as I said it boils quickly and it'll shut off without whistling. I'm trying to get away from using my microwave to heat up water for tea. I drink about 2-3 cups of decaf tea a day and this is perfect. The water stays hot for a good while once it's off.
